GLS Café on Crucial Conversations – May 2015

‘The Health of a relationship, team or organisation is a function of the average time lag between identifying and discussing problems. The health of our ministry, the impact of your team’s focus, the transformation in your community; depends upon how quickly and effectively a leader responds to problems, breakdowns and division.’ Joseph Grenny, GLS 2014 Main Session, ‘Crucial Conversations’

Responding to problems can seem hard due to all sorts of interpersonal relationships. Yet if we can master the art of crucial conversations then the impact can be exceptional. Grenny’s research with churches in the USA showed that when leaders and churches embody a culture of having those conversations, intimacy and trust grow and as a result churches soar:

  • 73{%} increase in membership growth
  • 65{%} increase in team strength
  • 50{%} increase in spiritual growth

This GLS Café will help you develop the art of crucial conversations.

The day will run from 9.30am to 4.30pm, 15 May 2015 at Kerith Community Church, Bracknell.

They are intentionally interactive, facilitated in such a way as to draw out the wisdom within the room. Through focused conversations, great coffee and cake, delegates learn practical skills that will take their leadership development forward and directly impact their ministries. They’re also a great opportunity for networking, making strategic connections and lasting partnerships for the Gospel.
